A little about the band......
Formed in 2009 when guitarist and singer Richard Green suggested that this would be a great combination of players to bring together, Mister Funky Pants (a name bestowed on the band to unanimous support by guitarist/singer Pat Barnett-Mulligan) continues to bring it's own inimitable mixture of musical styles to venues throughout Eastern New York and Western Massachusetts. With a diverse song list, decades of experience and a wicked sense of humor, "the Pants" are ready to rock your bar, club or private party.
Band Members......
Pat Barnett-Mulligan (guitar and vocals) - organizer of the legendary monthly Open Mic. at the Peint O' Gwrw in Chatham, NY, Pat is a roots rocker who wears his love of Gram Parsons on his sleeve.
Richard Green (guitar and vocals) - originally from Sheffield, England, Richard brings a big chunk of the blues to Mister Funky Pants. He's also not afraid to share some of his other influences including British Glam Rock.
Pete D'Amica (bass and vocals) - a veteran of Staten Island hard rock outfit Iron Horse, Pete has been playing forever. Probably the most enthusiastic bass player ever, Pete brings tremendous energy to the Pants.
Kevin Holsapple (drums and vocals) - a southern rocker at heart, Kevin is a veteran of upstate NY country/southern rockers The Revolvers. Prior to joining Mister Funky Pants he and Richard played with the blues band "Kid Kurt and the Bad Boys".
